Are you free on Monday December 6, 2021? About 10am Sydney (Australia) time? Fabulous.
I am so lucky to be delivering a keynote address, titled Creative↔Research: New knowledge for difficult times. I will be talking about the gifts and challenges of creative research, particular for doctoral education.
So often – too often – there is a pull between creating art and building research. The artefact/exegesis model of doctoral education attempts to transcend and transform this pull. (Post)pandemic – and in the midst of a Zombie University system – how can creativity and research be aligned to summon meaning and knowledge?
This keynote is being delivered for the UNSW Arts, Design and Architecture inaugural Higher Degree Research Conference. I am so excited. And yes, this is a free and open session.
My talk is running from 10am to 11am (Sydney, Australia time). To convert this time to your particular location, please use this time zone converter (https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20211205T230000)
