Tara's Master of Education (honours) was awarded from the University of New England in 2006. It was composed of four units and a dissertation.
The four modules completed were
Adult Education and Training
Cross Cultural Management
Practicing Research
Tertiary Education: Foundations and Context
The dissertation aligned these modules with literacy theory to explore the impact of Google on education and training. The resultant thesis was titled "The University of Google." Two examiners assessed the thesis: an anonymous internal examiner from UNE and Professor Wayne Martino. It was graded as a First Class Honours, as was the entire degree.
The University awarded Tara the Dean's Prize as an acknowledgement of her results.
